How to get the text console from the login screen:
The things are pretty simple, you just have to write >console instead of your username, without any password. But first you have to set up "Display login windows" as "Name and password" in Login Options, like in the image below.
In the same manner, you can input other commands, like:
>restart
>shutdown
>power
